i have MacBook Air, iPad Air and iPhone 5s
My notes on iPad and iPhone are synced. I cannot get them synced to MacBook.
I have tried several suggestions as per various sites on Internet.

One suggested I close my iCloud which involved changing password. I do not want to change that password as I find it easy to remember. Also it is same password which unlocks my MacBook.

My iPhone notes has default account for Siri iCloud.... Was previously my email address
My notes, I had few folders but have moved all to iCloud.
My iPhone iCloud settings (a different email) has iCloud on and has notes turned on.

My MacBook settings iCloud is turned on and notes turned on

I created test note on MacBook to see if it appeared in iCloud folder on iPhone. Nope!
So I did the reverse and still nothing.
Test note from iPhone to Mac shows on iPad but no test note from Mac to iPhone.

I have tried turning off all devices and restarting, that did not work.

Can anyone help me?

I already re booted all devices. That did not work.

Don't know about simple note.

I'll add my vote for Simplenote. Good app.

But there ought to be a solution for the OPs Notes issue anyway. Do all your devices have the latest/greatest OS?

Hi, Lori. I'm Diane.

I reread the original post. A couple things caught my attention.
  1. Are you looking at the Notes.app? Or are you digging around in iCloud Drive? The Notes App should should show synced notes.
  2. More interestingly, the way you've explained your situation, it seems you're using more than one iCloud email address. If that's the case, I don't think they'll ever sync.
Do you have any iCloud content that syncs across all devices?

Not sure how to answer this.

syncing my iPhone and iPad just happened automatically. I did not instal anything. I can't figure out why MacBook is different.

My settings are shown in attachment. The columns a little askew and hopefully can be understood.
