Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me here. Is there a way to sync my notes from my iPhone 3GS iOS4 to iTunes so when I get my new iPhone 4 I won't lose them. I don't see an option anywhere. Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much. I feel like such an idiot, it was right there in front of my face and I missed it. Sorry for the stupidity on my part. Thanks for the quick response!

Ok, I hit sync notes with Outlook but they don't show up, is there some trick to this or something? I'm using Outlook 2010.

On iTunes just mark the "syncing notes" box. Then sync your iPhone.

After, on mac and mail.app it appears under notes (or On my mac/notes). For windows users and outlook I don'k know but it should be quite similar.

Otherwise to be safe, mail all your notes to yourself as backup.

If you have Mobile Me or G-Mail you can set it up through them as well.

Doing it in iTunes only syncs when you plug the phone into the computer. Doing it through those services will sync over the sair.

I don't know if that matters to you.

Also, if it matters, I'm pretty sure that G-Mail includes copies of the notes in the Mail inbox as well as in notes. I found that kind of weird so I never ended up using the G-Mail sync.

Thanks for letting me know MobileMe does sync...I just turned that on and I am all good. Appreciate the responses, thank you!

Sync Notes Problem

This may not be the answer everybody is looking for but since I'm migrating my data to Google and Google doesn't have a Notes app (that I know of) I'm moving my Notes to Evernote. It syncs between my iPod Touch and my PC and since it's "cloud" I can access it anywhere. It's free!

And, best of all, I can sort everything by alpha and not by date created

It's bye,bye Outlook
