Syncing PDFs to new ipad wirelessly via iTunes wont work

Hi All,

So I picked up the new iPad today (my very first Apple product).

I installed iBooks app, and setup wi-fi syncing with iTunes which appears to be working for apps and safety backups.

However, how do I get it to wirelessly accept PDFs into iBooks? When I drag a pdf file into iTunes it places the file under the books tab in the local pc library. But it does not transfer this to the books tab on the ipad device.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated :)
