Syncing problems between a itunes on a PC and a Mac

I hope you can help me. I have been using iTunes for 5+ years on my PC. I recently bought a macbook pro and, with help of Belkin switch-to-mac able to transport all my music, documents and photo's. However it did not sent the playlists and ratings! Is there any way I can retrieve this??
