iPod touch Syncing problems with Itunes

Recently I had my computer that has Itunes library on it reimaged. The computer service reloaded Itunes onto it along with other programs and now my library has all songs loaded twice. When I plug in my Itouch it automatically syncs but does not load my playlists or TV shows. I am not getting the summary page to come up when I plug in the Itouch either. In Itunes under File the syncing option is grayed out. Suggestions?
