Hi guys,
Like most of you I access my email over a variety of different media - phone, mac mail, different browsers etc. I would like for my mail that is read to be sync'd as such across all of my devices. This works relatively well except with Mac Mail which doesn't seem to "know" I have read a particular message on another device.
If I read an email on Mac Mail it does indeed get marked as read on the server and therefore across all of my devices. Also if I read an email BEFORE mail pulls it off the server then it is also marked as read. The problem (and I am being quite liberal with that term) only happens when mac mail is running, and I read an email on another device. Obviously Mail isn't "rechecking" read status. Is there a way to turn this on as an option?
thanks
