I have a bunch of songs on my iphone, downloaded from another itunes, and I want to sync new songs with my itunes but it says if I sync my new songs, I will loose my current playlist.

How do I keep what I have and add the new songs?

Exact message is:
Are you sure you want to sync music? All existing songs and playlists on the iPhone “*********” will be replaced with songs and playlists from your iTunes library.

Turn off Automatic Syncing. You'll lose the music on your phone, but this way, from here on out, you'll be able to delete and add music to your heart's content.

Thanks but isn't there a way I can download new songs and keep the ones I have? There HAS to be.

iPhone can only be sync with one computer. You will need to figure out a way to do reverse sync and wipe out the phone's music content to sync the new content. Another option is copy the other iTunes library to a flash drive and then sync it with your own computer that you used to register your iPhone.
