iPod touch syncing TV shows so limited?

Just got my touch and its the first video ipod ive owned so syncing TV shows is new to me. I just went to sync a few eps of robot chicken and 30 rock. What I want to do is sync the first 4 eps of robot chicken and first 2 eps of 30 Rock in each season. With the syncing options I either have to sync all eps, # most recent unwatched, or # most recent. What im looking to do is sync the OLDEST (first few eps of the season) ones for each series. Is there a work around?

The easiest way that I can think of is to set the iPod to only sync "checked items", and then uncheck what you don't want to go on your touch.

Click the box on the sync screen to manually manage your content. Then just drag and drop the ones that you want onto the iPod.
