I recorded video on an IPhone. I synced the Iphone with my Itunes. I looked in the "Movies" folder where all video goes in Itunes. The Iphone videos were not there. I could not figure out why.

I synced the IPhone with IPhoto (one of the worst programs ever). The videos synced into IPhoto.

Of course, I moved the videos into Itunes with the "Add to Library" feature. But this was a pain, and antithesis to the "Apple/Mac makes everything easy, logical, and straightforward" theory.

So, I must be missing something. I want my videos to sync directly from the Iphone to Itunes. There are a host of reasons why I want this. ONe of the big ones is AppleTV talks to Itunes. Having videos in IPhoto (in the typical unsearchable, unorganizable Iphoto way, no less) does me no good with AppleTV (or my Ipod or IPhone for future syncing, for that matter).

Any help or advice you can give would be great.

Apple sunshine pumpers . . . I am not seeking 500 posts from people who want to tell me why Apple's decision to have the Iphone sync to Iphoto instead of Itunes is exactly what I want, but I just don't know it. Instead, I would really appreciate help solving the problem I have identified.
