So heres the situation. My friend bought an ipod so i could copy my library to give to him. In order to do this i have to obviously sync it with my computer first. So if i do that and give it to him and he connects it to his computer will it ask him to identify his computer as the machine to sync it with and then erase the content i put on there?

Whats is the best solution to this problem

I'm a mac and he's a pc.

iPods can't sync to two computers at once. If you sync to a second computer, whatever is on the iPod will be erased.

Put the files you want to give to your friend on a USB flash drive or an external hard drive, and have him copy them into his iTunes.

How to move files from iPod to computer

If you search around you can find a program that will allow you to copy files from an iPod to a computer. I don't know where my link to that info is at the moment but I do recall seeing it recently. Hope this helps you.
