synergy

hello guys,


i'm trying to set up synergy on a windows pc and a mac, with the pc as the server and the mac as the client.


the best result is that i can get the mouse and action over to the mac, but i can't move back to the windows pc!

is the mac synergy pref panel work with the windows app?

how do i make sure the network settings are correct for synergy to work?

my error was not including both:
this computer is to the right of that one
and
that computer is to the left of that one...


anyway... it works now, but even though i am connected via gigabie ethernet, there is a little bit of lag...?


and how to make sure that it connects each time? i thought i needed to make sure there were static ip addressed? how do i do that?
