Synology folder sync to externel hard drive

Hi,

can a Synology NAS keep a folder in sync with an external drive that is attached to the NAS?
The reason I want to do that is I'd like to store my files on the NAS for wireless access but when I am away from home I want to take the drive with me and still be able to access those files. I'd be using Aperture and iTunes with those files. So the name of the drives would have to be the same for those Apps to be able to find the files.
Does Synology offer this? The drive would be formatted HFS+.

I don't want versioning or a backup. Just a copy of my files.
