I have been using my Synology NAS DS211 for almost 3 years. It is working nicely with my PC and PC laptop, iPhone or iPad.

I have experienced some problems with my newly MacBook Air. Whenever my NAS is active, I have no trouble connecting my NAS with my MacBook Air. But if my NAS is sleeping, My MacBook Air can't connect it through Finder or iTunes, it said connection failed and the icon went missing.

When I am using PC, I just clicked on the NAS on my network, it will wake up and connect in a couple seconds.

I have to use Safari to login to the NAS to wake it up or use the DSFile on iPhone or iPad to wake the NAS up before my MacBook can access it.

If I lost the NAS icon from network, I have to switch my WiFi network connction from 5Ghz to 2.4Ghz or vice versa or turn it off and on again to see the NAS.

Anyone can have some solution to this problem? Thanks
