I just received my new white MacBook and - of course - love it. One thing is bothering me though. Why does running "sysctl -a" tell me that my Core Duo is a Core Solo? It should tell me "T2400" like my 1.83GHz iMac does but instead it reads "1400" which means Core Solo 1.83GHz. I phoned my friend and his white MacBook does the same, only he has a 2GHz version and it says "1500" on his comp.

AND for some odd reason the two black MacBooks I tried in a near by store say T2500 but the white 2GHz version there also said 1500.

Am I missing something here?

EDIT: of, forgot something. And it also seems Core Duo Temp gives of way too low readings on these white MacBooks in question, around 30 C. And the fans come on much later than on the black MacBooks, on which Core Duo Temp also gives proper readings (50-70 C)
