I'll try keep this short...
On my PB, with os 10.5.0 and 10.5.1 I was pretty frustrated with Time Machine, so I just didn't use it.
Upgrading to 10.5.2 I decided to give it a try and everything seemed to be working well,
until I noticed a process syslogd randomly making my processor work at 100% for long periods of time.
I looked around and found this:

I then, once again turned off time machine and quit this process.
It comes back and still makes my processor work at 100%.
I have tried restarting and nothing. Upon quitting the process it pops right back up.
I'm fine with not using Time Machine since my computer is getting old anyway,
but it'd be nice to not have it constantly at 100%
Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
