System activity logger

Is there a nice system activity logger for 10.6.1? My sister apparently changed the "spaces" to where the button only works if it is held down. Trying to be precise as possible, She made it to where the F3 button can only work if it is held down. Doing so, it becomes a pain to use, as I can not just press it. So i have to hold it down, and you can not select a page from that screen either.

Also if it helps, the windows slide to the left.
P.S. I checked system prefs.
