So I'm using a Sapphire VID-2X in order to get dual monitor support on my macbook pro. It works great but as you know it just creates one really large monitor...The problem is the top menu bar is stretched over the entire monitor which is a hassle.
Does anyone know if there is a way to set a static max width of the menubar in OSX that way I can just set the width to the proper size of one of the monitors and then I can use a Secondbar on the other monitor.

Or it woud be great if there were a way to fax the OS into thinking that my monitor is actually two monitors so it would manage it that way but I'm guessing that is probably asking too much. I'd settle for just setting a max menu bar size.
Thanks in advance!
