I just found you can go to menu bar > apple icon, hold down Option > System Information

Option is your friend. There are numerous hidden menu commands accessed that way. I suppose there is a list of them online somewhere… (< that is another type of variation, special characters: Option :/; < that key, the one with both of those punctuation marks) And ®, Option r

Mentioned in the manual since Big Sur, but working since at least High Sierra 10.13.6
"Tip: You can also press and hold the Option key, then choose Apple menu > System Information."
