odd this morning. Computer worked fine last night. 2015 Macbook Pro. Left on like normal.

This morning, blank screen. Powered down and started up. Issue found. Then when I login, gets half way through boot and hangs.

I boot recovery. Disk Utility not seeing any partitions :(

I do run filevault 2, latest update to Mac OS.

I'll probably have to restore to my week or so old TM backup which I make to SD card. Not always installed since it sticks out.

Update. Apparently drive failing. Was able to reinstall 10.11. Then update to current failed while I was at work. Not able to erase drive from utilities.

Guess I continue to wait for my back ordered apple silicon MacBook Pro.

You are up-and-running with 10.11 right now?

What does disk utility say about the health of the drive?
