Here is the complete story:

I have a MacMini 2010 with Snow Leopard. Its not booting up, all I get is a blue screen, finder is not booting. Its not the first time this has happened, and I sort of have the solution. All I need to do is boot up from a usb, shut down, and then it works fine again. However....

1)My USB startup died...
2)I no longer have the optical disk as I replaced for a 2nd HDD.

My goal is to use my white macbook to make a copy of the Snow Leopard DVD to a new USB. then plug 2 USB to the MacMini and install snow Leopard on a 2nd USB. Then boot up and problem solved.

so I need instructions how to create this USB. Any other help on the subject is welcome!
