System preferences keep resetting!

I just bought a brand new PowerBook G4 15" and hooked it to my old PowerBook to transfer the preferences. Afterwards, I changed a few keyboard shortcuts. However, everytime I logout or shut down, the shortcuts revert back to how I had them originally. How can I fix this?

Try repairing permissions and deleting com.apple.systempreferences.plist from:
Computer -> Users -> yourshortname -> Library -> Preferences
