So yesterday i got a new macbook Pro. turned it on and dragged my movie's documents, folder over. My itunes folder over and then the iphoto icon from my external HR over.

Once all was done i installed updates, and all my software. i opened up itunes and iphoto and saw my photos were there so i i just closed them.

Well later that night, i opened up iphoto (because i needed to find a pic) and then for whatever reason i clicked on system preferences and i got a message on the bottom right of my screen saying,

Weird. I tried to dupicate that same problem all night but never came back up again. Sure do you think it was a glitch? maybe iphoto was indexing?

Anyway tonight i'm going to format and install my computer with Restore Disk. then transfer everything back again.

Now for my iphoto on my external HD. i don't care about the edited once, would it be better to right click it and then "show package contents" then drag over the ORIGINAL folder on top of my iphoto icon on my computer?

the orignial folder does have all my pictures correct?.. just unedited.
