What essentially does this setting allow you to do when it's checked? It seems to not have anything to do with my keyboard & mouse because they work without it being checked.

Just curious (learning about bluetooth).

It allows you to send and receive files via bluetooth (e.g. from a mobile phone)

Thanks. I know this is a dumb question, but what kind if files? I have an iPhone. How could I use bluetooth to exchange files back & forth? Could you please give me a couple of examples? I didn't think the iPhone could store documents, but like I said, I'm just learning about this stuff.

Also, does it have to be paired somehow? My iPhone is paired with iTunes on my iMac, of course, but not sure that's what paired means.

on my razor, it would allow me to exchange ANY files, i could then view most pictures and play most music, but not any other document.

I'm not sure what the limitations are for the iPhone however. It depends on the phone.
