System Preferences - Trackpad Screen

Hey guys just got my new Macbook and when I go to the System Preferences and go to the trackpad page I don't see check marks for my 2 finger, 3 finger, and 4 finger gestures, but the thing is that all my gestures work fine. Do I need to enable something? Anyone else having this issue?

There are not supposed to be check marks there. You're fine.

there are no checkboxes. they're on by default.
