Hi
I am relatively new to the world of Mac and have a problem which I am sure one of you kind people out there can help me with.
My 'System Preferences' has gone, probably zapped by me unintentionally.
Could someone painlessly guide me through recovering it - I have a disc.
Would you please keep it as simple as possible.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Do you mean from the dock or from the system full stop?

If you mean from the dock, simply click the Apple icon in the top left hand corner and select System Preferences. You can then right click the icon in the dock, select options, and click keep in dock. :)

System Preferences

Hi

It has gone from the system - full stop.
I have looked everywhere but to no avail.

Never easy is it.

Cheers

OK

When I go to the Apple menu I can see "System Preferences" but it won't open.

When I open spotlight and type in "system preferences" top hit brings me back to this forum.

I think I need to re-install "system preferences" from my disc. Anybody talk me through it.
