I was in the screensaver tab, and I changed an option for the iTunes artwork widget. System Preferences then crashed. I could reopen it after a few tries with new settings, but after quitting and telling it to use the new settings, it goes back to its old ways when I open it again, it crashes every time I go to the screensaver tab. I have removed the com.apple.systempreferences.pref files from my library/preferences folder with no luck. Is there another file I need to remove to reset the system prefs (or just the screensaver prefs if possible)?

No, not a problem in a new user account.

Edit: I noticed typo in the first post, so reread (it said iTunes crashed, I meant System Preferences crashed)

Okay, try removing the two screensaver-related preference files from the ByHost folder in the Preferences folder. Restart and see if it's any better. :)

How do you know all of this stuff??
