I'm only really here at night.
Hey ya'll :p

Been trying to solve a small glitch in a new, fresh install (NO old stuff moved over yet) of Leopard on my QS 1.6/1.5GB/Radeon9800......everything thing else seems to be working fine (apps, utilities, web, mail etc) EXCEPT........

Everytime I open System prefs and try to use any of the panes that have a drop-down sheet, it hard-locks everything & I have to reboot......the 1st one to do this was the Display pane when trying to change the resolution, then the accounts pane when trying to add a new user.....and on & on......

All the other panes work fine, except the ones that have the roll-down sheets.........

Fresh install from a retail dvd on an empty, freshly erased & formatted 74GB Raptor. Machine has been & still runs Tiger on another HDD flawlessly since it came out.... Have already ran permissions repair, disk verify, and all the standard troubleshooting stuff plus rebooted several times to no avail....

Any suggestions appreciated :p
