System Prefs Gone

All of a sudden my system preferences has been deleted or something...Anyway to get it back?

Are they also gone from another user account?

Have you repaired permissions?

Have you simply rebooted?

What system do you run?

Edit: Do you still have System Preferences.app in /Applications?

If you have sufficient space on your HD, then the least hassle might be to just do an Archive and Install to reinstall Tiger, but you can also use an application like Pacifist to locate the installer of System Preference.app off the Tiger DVD if you don't mind a bit of "digging".

Is it in your trashcan?

I'm actually using the Jaguar System prefs from my girlfriend's powerbook.

However, can someone send me their System Preferences.app (Tiger OS)??

if you can, and it's not illegal or anything - can you send it to eyu86@hotmail.com.. I dont want to break any MacRumors or federal laws but system prefs is just kinda important.
I dont want to have to download that program and search through the dvd(s).
