Why do I have to relaunch system prefrences everytime i want to change something in a new catagory. What happend to show all? So ridiculously stupid!!! :mad:
 
Mine has the show all button still.

I'm at work or I'd post a screenshot.
Is there a .prefpane you can delete for System Preferences?

i see that you are also having problems with Disc Copy. you really should do panther installation over again. something is not right...
 
Disk copy

There was a third disc. I didnt do anything with it. Not the developer disc but disc 3. it didnt ask for it so i guess im confused

Heh, I was just about to suggest that might be the problem. For the life of me, I don't understand why Apple included the 'Hide Toolbar' option in System Preferences, it's not very intuitive how to get to another panel if the toolbar is hidden (they are still available via a menu).
 
Aren't those the developer toolkit, which is pretty well unneccesary unless you want to make your own apps?
