Hi all,
The above snippet of code will of course not work on iOS.
However in the list of available frameworks, I don't see either Accessibility or Voiceover. Maybe I'm going blind but is there another framework that I need to use to have my program speak?
Thanks.

The Accessibility speech synthesis engine is not accessible from a public iOS API.

You might want to try looking at the CMU flite library for voice synthesis. Several apps use it for speech.
