Weaselboy Moderator Staff member Jan 23, 2005 35,079 17,438 California Apr 15, 2014 #2 Do you mean the systemstatsd process? Try selecting it in Activity Monitor then hit the X at the top left and force quit it. Does that fix it? If it happens again, try an SMC reset.
