Hi guys,
I have a 2017 imac 27" i5 with a tb of flash storage. I use it for video editing mostly. my storage has about 700gb used up out of that and for the life of me I can't figure out where. I've searched the finder high and low and even set it up Just to look for large files but the biggest I can find is a project with 99gb.
The Omni disk sweeper is saying about 130gb used. Everywhere I look i can't find anywhere even close to what the system storage is reading. I've also tried indexing through spotlight but still didn't change. I've done quite a bit of importing 4K files from a external drive but always delete them off the internal drive when finished. I also have done a bit of transcoding media to proxies and optimized. I have already deleted all render files and checked the volumes folder for clutter. I don't know if it's keeping these transcoded files somewhere or what's going on but I can't find anything. Has anyone had a similar issue? Any guidence would be great.
