Sometimes when I'm on the startup disk selection screen and select my Windows drive, the system freezes, forcing me to hold the power button to turn it off, but most of the times it loads Windows flawlessly.

I just did a clean install of Windows, so that drive shouldn't be the culprit.
I'm also planning to do a clean install of OS X 10.9 when it comes out (that should fix any software related problem), but in the meantime does anyone have any idea of what might be the problem?

I'm running OS X 10.8.4 and Windows 8 via Boot Camp, on separate drives.

Thank you for your help!
