Carrier T-Mob mail-in returns: are they always slow to refund?

Returned my TMob iPX (paid full price with AMEX card) on launch day after I got a VZW model. TMob rec'd on Nov 10. They are telling me they will refund by Dec 10. Seems a bit ridiculous it would take them a whole month to issue a refund. Is this par for the course? Not really consumer friendly like their marketing wants to portray them.

Yes, that is exactly how they proceed in this case. I returned my iPhone X on Nov. 6 and the refund came in 4 days ago.

Thanks for the data point. Based on your experience I guess anytime now. I'm hoping to get the refund applied before I have to pay my CC bill in a few days.

Yes its always like this. Took 10 days for my EIP balance to reflect, still waiting on my CC refund.
