I have my new unlocked iPhone 6, unlocked I ordered from Apple, no contract T Mobil phone. I have activated it using my SIM from my now retired 5s on the ATT network. I think, not totally certain, that my network voice reception is not as good as when I use the iPhone 5s.

Since the Verizon iPhone 6 is unlocked for GSM networks, is there any difference in a T Mobile iPhone compared to a Verizon iPhone on the GSM networks? I realize the T Mobile phone won't work on a CDMA network. But on the GSM networks there any difference in the phones from different carriers?

Thanks for any insight the group may be able to offer.

Would love to know too. But I suspect all GSM phones are the same, what's associated with the carriers is the phone's IMEI

I bought the "Verizon" iPhone 6 Plus from the Apple Store yesterday. There is no distinction as to what carrier it is assigned to on the box. It carries the same model number as a GSM phone. Also, I'm using it on a GSM pre-paid carrier (H2O Wireless).

All that to say, they're the same.

thats for confirming this

The only difference is that Verizon keeps the IMEI of all there phones in their database. They just will not allow other phones that do not have a listed IMEI on their network. Phones are identical.
