If I have an iPhone 5 already on tmobile and I want to switch to the $30 plan with 5gb of data do I need to buy a new sim or I can just call and changed my plan

I have a tmobile iPhone on pay as you go

Haha I don't think you are. Not sure what the issue is.

Another poster was right, it's a promotional offer and requires a new activation. You could probably order a sim kit or get one from a tmobile store and come home and do it online.

If not, try calling them

You already had your answer when you posted so not sure what you were looking for in this thread.
