Carrier T-Mobile account with 10+ lines joining IUP?

I have an in-store pickup reservation this Friday, and I hope to join the iPhone Upgrade Program then (instead of paying in full).

I heard that Apple Store has trouble verifying T-Mobile accounts with more than 10 lines, due to T-Mobile's crappy app that they ask Apple to use. Is this still true? Did you have 10+ lines and successfully join the iUP?
