T-mobile and equipment protection on iPhone?

Just wondering if anyone has the t-mobile equipment protection on their plan. I've pretty much pored over the fine print of the contract, and it basically says that t-mobile will insure whatever phone is currently active on the plan, utilizing the associated sim card.

Anyone have any ideas? Is this worth getting?

I would just make sure it covers non-T-Mobile branded phones before buying.

I checked with the girl at the store, and she said with multiple phones, it covers whichever is currently using the sim card for the last few days.

On their website it says that it is only good on phones bought from t-mobile or an authorized resaler. I even called them to make sure, and it is not valid.
