Found an Iphone for sale but its locked to T-mobile. From what i've read t-mobile and virgin are related and that a virgin sim should work in a T-mobile locked phone, can any one confirm this?

Thanks :apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:

You'll have to unlock it. The carrier IDs are probably different, even though virgin may use T-Mos towers. The iPhone will lock you out if your carrer IDs don't match T-Mo's, you can use a gevey sim to bypass that though

If you're in the uk: yes virgin aim works in a t mobile locked iPhone.

My iPhone which i got from eBay was locked to t mobile and while I was waiting for it to be unlocked (£20 & 28days later) I found out that it worked regardless or being locked.

Virgin sims do work on t mobile locked iPhones
