T-Mobile best trade-in value matching Verizon for iPhone 6?

I have an iPhone 4 and seems Verizon will be offering $200 for trade-in. With the Tmobile's trade in matching (+$50 towards to bill), I'm wondering if I can take advantage of this.

1. On 9/17, I trade in my iphone4 (worth $0 I think) and get iphone 6 at Tmobile.
2. Within 7 days, request a trade-in match.
3. Receive $200 (that Verizon would have offered) + $50.

Does this sound good?

they have an uncarrier event planned today. So they will prob announce new plans too, so make sure you keep an eye out for that.

I am also wondering if they will match what verizon is offering.
