hi all,

I purchased a blacklisted T-Mobile phone on eBay and made the stupid decision of resetting it. By doing so I'm not able to get by the activation screen. All I want to do is use this phone as an iPod. Any way to do so?

I've tried inserting a Verizon and att SIM card and those do not work. Will a T-Mobile some card get me past the activation process? Again, I'm not looking to use the cellular features...just need it as an iPod.

Thx!

Yes. Any T-Mobile sim or its mvno partners like simple mobile, metro pcs etc.
You can buy a T-Mobile sim for about $1 on eBay or borrow someone's for one minute to get passed the activation screen.
Ok thanks so much!!!

It doesn't even need to be an active SIM... it can be a previously used dead SIM.
Ok good to know. I'm crossing my fingers hoping this works. Would hate to have to resell the phone for parts.

Thanks again for the quick replies!
