Carrier T-Mobile customer paying full price for iPhone X

Quick question. I am with TMO and will be paying full price for my iPhone X then upgrading next year to the newest one. For resale purposes is it really better to buy the Verizon version?

I did my 7 + via the reservation thing they had last year. I'm doing this year via pick up at store so I don't have to enter any details

Edit: Scratch that, you do have to enter details for pick up also. I don't even remember how I ordered it or if I even got the Verizon model lol

You don't have to enter any details if you're paying full price for the phone. I was going to try to do the IPhone Upgrade program from Apple but I noticed there was no way to pre order or reserve a spot as a TMO customer.

Oops I stand corrected. Just tried to go through the full process to buy the Verizon phone and yes looks like you have to enter Verizon information . Guess I will be buying TMO then
