t-mobile data plan.. for iphone 3g pls help

hey guys i bought new iphone 3g and unlcoked it.. i am using t-mobile and i have t-mobile data plan $24.99( which was $19.99 before) .. i get E symbol on iphone and i set APN to internet2.tmobile.com i didn;t set username and password. but when i open safari or appstore or youtube it says can;t connect.. pls help what i have to do

This is a known problem... It happened to mine yesterday.

You need to go into settings and then general, and click on NETWORK, then CELL DATA NETWORK, and add:

internet2.voicestream.com

no username or password... it saves you needing to reinsert sim cards.

They told me its a temporary problem and should be fixed any day now...

He also said it is only effecting the East coast at the moment.

(My phone isnt a "hacked" phone so I dunno if that makes any difference)
