it won't be the $579 everyone is talking about.
you get it for that price if you do the new simpleplan with EIP.

please let me be wrong! lol

ouch so I would need to either add a line and pay another deposit or convert my account into family plan?

ouch all I have is $602 to my name so I guess I am stuck with adding a new line or convert over to family plan unless t-mobile decides to do full price customers for $570 plus tax and shipping?

When I purchased the Z10....it was the $531.99 that alot of people were saying. You have to sign up with one of their EIP plans in order to get that price. I had to pay $569.99 plus tax.

it would cost you 580$ +tax. i talked to the tmobile representative today on the phone.

That is only if you sign up with one of the new plans. You can't purchase it outright for that price otherwise.

I am already on a EIP plan with my BBz10 so am I eligible for the $580 price plus tax?

You will have to pay for the first month of service ($50) and then you can cancel and continue paying $20 a month for the phone. I believe you will also be able to buy it in one payment for $580 + tax but not completely sure.

Not to rain on your parade, but if all you have is $602, should you really be purchasing an iPhone?

Talked Tmo rep because I've been a Tmo customer for years now. Since I've had an iPhone for the last couple of years with Tmo, I've never used my upgrade. According to the rep, if you have an upgrade you qualify for a discount but he didn't tell me how much it would be.

I'm thinking of holding off for the 5s. No point in spending $500-$600 on the 5 when the 5s comes out this summer. I'll wait.

They basically told me on the help chat that I wouldn't be able to get a discount even though I've had an upgrade for like 3 months.

Let me try and clear something up, there are no "upgrades" to the iPhone 5. You have to be on the new Simple Choice Value Plan, your old upgrades are now irrelevant. You can buy the device full price, but I don't know if you can do that with the pre-order.
