Does anyone know if the (unlocked) T-Mobile iPhone 6 will work in Hong Kong? According to this https://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/ it looks like LTE won't work in Hong Kong. However, will 3G or 4G work? I'm sure there are people here who had an American (T-Mobile) version of the iPhone 5S and travelled or lived in Hong Kong. Any thoughts?

Also, data Wikipedia seems to suggest that the LTE American GSM Version of the iPhone 6 (Model A1549 (GSM)) would work in Hong Kong: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks#Asia
You can see Hong Kong has LTE bands 3 and 7 which are included in the American version of the iPhone. Any ideas?

So... Does anyone have any experience with using an American iPhone in Hong Kong?

Check the GSM bands operating in Hong Kong against the iPhone 6 specs and you'll have you answer. Research.
