I am thinking of trading my regular 6 for a 6 plus with someone on Craigslist. Obviously I know what to look out for and what to check so please no comments about that. My question is that mine is Verizon and his is T-Mobile. Will his T-Mobile phone work with my Verizon sim? If so will it be the same as a Verizon phone? Same LTE speeds and VOLTE? Thanks

You can't use a non-Verizon phone on Verizon. They will not activate it.

If the T-Mobile iPhone is locked then it will not work with any carrier besides T-Mobile.
If the i6 is unlock then you'd be fine.
Obviously test it out before you pay for it.

Right. Assuming it's unlocked (for example if he got it from Apple rather than from a T-Mobile store) it should work fine.
