Last night when I first set up my 6s, I was greeted by a screen say "device activated on CDMA. To roam you need a sim.." I don't remember the exact message but the content was something like that. It appeared after the first few options (choose nations..etc). I was pretty sure the phone was under my device support profile and it was T-Mobile GSM. Anyone has any idea? Note that I bought 2 and the first one didn't show me this message.

which phone (carrier wise) did you get?
I did not get this message on my 6s when I inserted my 6 plus sim. I'm on TMo.

What SIM did you use to activate the iPhone?

I bought the T-Mobile one and the phone is T-Mobile version. It shows "T-Mobile" at the top left corner. So the phone was the right one. I'm just confused that why it showed me that message while the other didn't. Also when I factory reset the phone, the message didn't appear again.

I have a question!! I currently have the 6 plus!! And I am planning to go and study in California!! I live in Athens Greece!! Will my phone work in America???
