Spoke with T-Mobile rep in-store when I was re-filling an unlocked 4 and they're onboard in activating unlocked iPhone 5's with the new nano/micro-sim card.

Yeah, but they dont have any nano sims for the iPhone 5 yet. Are they hoping that people will be constructing their own?

T-Mobile said they are getting nano sims mid October

When the unlocked iPhone 5's are released by Apple is when T-Mobile will offer the sims.

Oh, gotcha. I have a friend whose pre-ordering an At&T one. He is going to attempt an unlock and see if he can cut and sand down his t-mobile micro sim to fit.
