I Pre Ordered my iPhone 5 at 8:00pm, how do the pre orders work, is it the earlier you did it the sooner you get it? Because I see the delivery time on the Apple website went from on the day to 2-3 weeks and now its on 6-12 weeks.

Also is there anyway to track it?

Once tracking is available you should receive an email. yes if you were the first batch to order then you will get it on the release date. If not then it slipped to 2-3 weeks because of supply.

How did you pre-order for TMobile? If you ordered unlocked, how did you order unlock on Apple.com? There doesnt seem to be an option.

The OP is talking about T-Mobile UK, not US. In the UK you can buy the iPhone direct from T-Mobile.
