T-Mobile SIM

I've been searching online for a bit and can't seem to find a definitive answer. What type of SIM from T-Mobile would I need to purchase to use on my unlocked iPhone 3GS?

I've heard something about needing a Data Plan on T-Mobile. I know I can't use 3G on T-Mobile, but would I be able to use Edge? or Wifi?

Yes, you will have to turn off 3G since it will cause problems since its incompatible with tmobile.
If you have a data plan with tmobile you can use edge data thru them by entering the correct apn settings for that carrier. If you dont have data then You will be able to use wifi as much as you want.

you can use wifi no issues there if you are unlocked then all you have to do is contact tmobile about adding data. they can discuss pricing with you as well.

Well, I have wifi available at my house so I don't really need Edge so that's not a problem. But if I have a prepaid SIM card, I can just use the phone to make calls and use Wifi to access in the internet?
